Father Rescues Children from Sinking Car, But Loses Life
(Manchester, N.Y.) -- A three-year-old boy remains in guarded condition at Strong Memorial Hospital Wednesday morning, after his father died rescuing him and his brother from a car that slid into a pond around 12:30 Tuesday afternoon.
Ontario County Sheriff Deputies said a car being driven by Sean Dusinberre, 37, of Newark, had careened off the road and into a pond on the north side of Bunker Hill Road, west of Larue Road.

Dusinberre smashed out the car's windows as it sank, pulling his children out of the car. He told Joshua, his 13-year-old, to swim to shore for help. He then attempted to swim to shore with three-year-old Dylan clinging to his back.

Ontario County Undersheriff David Tillman said, "He was able to break out a window, and get his two sons out, and try to get them back to shore."

very tragic
To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams.

That is the saddest thing I have read about in a long time. I feel bad for the kids ... because they lost their father, but he was doing what he needed to do to save his children!
