OK so I've been to festivals that had Dinosaur catering, and to their Syracuse location, but last week they opened their newest location! All I can say is YUM! Best BBQ I've ever had! We had the swag platter for 2 and substituted the catfish for extra chicken wings. It also comes with deviled eggs and fried green tomatoes. Then I had the pulled pork with baked beans and french fries. They give you HUGE portions at all the locations. The wait wasn't too bad as we got there 30 minutes before they opened (they've only been open for a few days so it's quite crowded.) But people who came in after us maybe had a 20 minute wait. Not too bad!

We were going to shoot waterfalls near troy and in poestenkill that day too but it started pouring and my camera isn't waterproof.

I'm already planning a second trip soon!


To get there cross the green island bridge hang a right and it's right there, great views of the hudson from just about every table!

Do they have the BBQ Portobello on their menu, like they do in Syracuse?

yup they do!

My husband and I are planning our second trip, and his band wants to go too, but not until Jan/Feb, so that will be our third. Can't wait!!
