Hi Matt. No, these are f16 one shot. Pushing the limits of DOF. Note these bugs are very tiny which probably helps them fall within the DOF.

Here is a Thai Jumping Spider. Bonus question -- can you guess what he is standing on?

Matt, the jumping spider is about 1/4" or less.

Took a walk in a beautiful central-city park this morning and found some bees active in the flowers.

Also at the park were a number of dragon flies. This is the only one I could get close to.

Nothing special compared to the other photos in this thread, but this is the most recent bug photo I've taken. We were in North South Lake state park last month and we had stopped at Newman's Ledge for lunch. This guy decided to see what my roast beef sandwich tasted like. I didn't have my macro with me, so this is as close as I could get with my normal lens.

Here's some unidentified plant bug.

It used a straw-like mouthpiece to suck the juice out of berries.

Cool Matt. I think that same guy was visiting my mom's garden last month -- I got a few photos like yours (minus the awesome straw).

I got hit by a nasty cold and wasn't able to get out on my daily walk/bug hunt. Hoping to get out this weekend. I figure the cold weather is going to slow down some of those faster bugs. If I can find a healthy creek nearby I want to try to find some beetle larvae.
