Good finds, Kelly.
Looks like an Orchid Spider of some sort and a Pyralis Firefly.

I shot this with help from my ringlight (same one as linked above)
It allowed me to stop down and get better depth of field.
Ring lights provide excellent illumination across the lens, but tends to flatten the subject if it is the dominant light source. The tick is to shoot in sun (the light of the ring is about the same white point as mid-daylight) and let the sun keep some shadows in.

Shooting with the broad bounce flash will act just like sunlight and keep natural shadows.

Another option is a macro speedlight setup, which can do many things, but those get very expensive and are only compatible with certain lenses.

For $30-something bucks, the ringlight was a worth buy for me.

Wow..that's nice and sharp. I need to learn more about flash use...eventually! ;) thanks for the info.
