Perfect! The best I could do was watch on NASA's website!
Did the last one - in 2004 - with my kids using a telescope projecting onto a sheet of paper.

my attempt of the Venus transit in June in Capitol Reef NP.
Due to a wildfire the sun appeared so red and some of the smoke clouds are visible in the pictures.
But the smoke also helped and I used only one filter.
All shots are handheld due to 60+mph wind gusts that day
beginning of the transit

a day earlier there was a partially lunar eclipse which I also tried to capture
Partially Lunar Eclipse
