Its been awhile since I posted although I have been still browsing the site occasionally. I had not been shooting much lately except for trying to track down some short eared owls. I did see some but only at dusk and no shots to show but a cool experience either way. The good news is I have located two more bald eagle nest not far from where I live, one I can shoot from the car. Here are a few I have taken.

Love the Pileated Woodpecker ! Funny I think americanhero posted about red-bellied woodpecker being on bird feeder, I happened to get this just this weekend in my backyard.

about a month ago I had captured a Hawk feasting on a fallen (dead) deer, I apologize if anyone finds it too graphic...
