Deer at Mendon Ponds

Postby rem05749 » Mon Sep 29, 2008 4:58 am

I went to Mendon Ponds just for a look around to see if there was anything worth taking pictures of. I was at the sensory garden area and happened to look over into the field and spotted about 4 deer grazing and then stumbled upon a couple more down a trail later on. The pictures of the deer eating from the tree branch was almost comically. I was watching the deer because it was acting some what funny. It kept looking from side to side as if to see if there was anyone around. Then it got on its hind legs and just started eating right from the tree.

Nicely done. I like the action shots of her having lunch.
To become truly immortal, a work of art must escape all human limits: logic and common sense will only interfere. But once these barriers are broken, it will enter the realms of childhood visions and dreams.

One ear checking out lunch, the other on the photographer.

Maybe an angry violent right wing radical. We just shouldn't allow deer with teeth within 1,000 feet of children (or politicians). Yeah, Congress should spend large amounts of time debating the merits of such a bill while the economy is doing a swirly down the toilet.
