if you get traps, you will probably have to empty them ever morning, but if you have a pond, they make for great fish and frog food.

Empty the traps early before they warm up, that way the beetles are too slow to fly away.

Oh, hell no. Just like a grasshopper is a grasshopper and a cricket is a cricket in my world...:lol: It's really tough to say without seeing a side shot (at least for me). There are over 200 species of the family Tettigoniidae in North America. The more that I looked, the more confused I became.
