Been going out with a knowledgeable buddy and shooting the amazing woodland plants. We found most of them behind my house and also in the Skaneateles Conservation Area

Those are great, Matt! My mom got me hooked on trillium when I was a kid. That red one is beautiful. Did you see many red ones? I walked through an entire "wildflower preserve" yesterday and didn't see a single red one! I did, however, spot one tiny clump of white Virginia Bluebells! I think that's pretty uncommon.

The SCA basically has ALL red ones, they're pretty amazing. It's a cool area to visit now when everything is poking up, lots of Columbine too

I'd like to go see those red trilium next spring. Sounds wonderful. Matt, hope you won't mind me adding a few Pennsylvania Ephemerals to the topic you started. They are a good 2-3 weeks ahead of us in bloom time down there.

I visited the Shenk's Ferry Wildflower Preserve last week. Just starting to go through the photos. Here are a couple. I'll add more as I get to them.
