Our hard-working and talented team of volunteers keep the website user-friendly, legible, and full of pretty pictures.
Site Founder / Designer / Photographer
The style and format of NYFalls.com started with Matt, and he leads the direction and growth of the NYFalls.com network of websites. He also contributes much of the photography to the galleries and writes a lot of the content. A self-taught photographer, his background is in environmental science.
Matt was brought on as a contributing author and photographer because of his eye-catching photography and knowledge of Upstate New York natural areas. His Flickr photographs are some of the best on that site. He is an educator and avid world traveler.
Editor / Community Leader
Lead Editor since 2008, Kelly provides a second set of eyes for every article published on NYFalls and its sister websites. Within the community forums, one of her specialties is dropping the ax on would-be spammers who weasel past our exterior controls. Her photography, just like her work here, is focused on capturing and exposing details.
Map Master / Community Moderator
Kyle is the site’s Map Master, in charge of scouting locations, working out coordinates, collecting information, and building maps for our members to use and enjoy. He’s also a talented photographer and enthusiastic about waterfalls.
